Allender Center

Anyone who has completed Level I, Level II, Level III, or Certification in Narrative Focused Trauma Care® through the Allender Center is considered part of the NFTC alumni community and is eligible to participate. Our training has gone through an evolution of names, so if you were part of the "Certificate" or "Externship" training programs, this includes you!

Connect focuses on community and visibility, including:

• NFTC Alumni Directory listing

• Professional HTML badges

• Online community spaces to connect with other alumni

Connect + Grow includes everything in Connect plus additional learning and events, such as:

• Expanded teaching library

• Exclusive alumni gatherings and the Virtual Summit

• 15% discount on online courses and webinars

• Free CEU access for select courses

All membership features are accessed through the Allender Center online portal at online.theallendercenter.org, where you already access your training materials, online courses, and webinar recordings.

Yes. If you start with Connect, you can upgrade to Connect + Grow during our open enrollment windows to access additional learning resources, discounts, and exclusive events.

Enrollment for the NFTC Alumni Membership will be open twice each year:

• Spring: April 20 – June 30, 2026

• Fall: August 1 – September 15, 2026

These enrollment windows allow our team at the Allender Center to welcome new members well, helping you get oriented and connected as you join the alumni community.

During the launch period, alumni can join the Connect + Grow membership at a special introductory rate.

When you enroll at this rate, it will be locked in for your first year and for each year you renew your membership. If you cancel and later decide to rejoin, the membership will be available at the regular rate at that time.

To receive the introductory rate, you must enroll in the annual Connect + Grow membership plan.

We hope that you'll find immense value in your membership. However, you are free to cancel your membership at any time!

If you are on a monthly plan, you will retain access through the end of your current monthly billing cycle.

If you are on an annual plan, you will retain access through the end of your annual billing period.

Please note that refunds or prorated amounts are not available once a billing cycle has begun.

Good news—your membership has already been upgraded!

Current NFTC Directory members are now included in the Connect membership level, with no action required on your part.

You’ll continue to log in through the Allender Center portal to update your directory profile as usual. You’ll also now have access to the Alumni Community Space, where you can connect directly with fellow NFTC alumni.

If you’d like to upgrade to Connect + Grow for additional learning resources, events, and discounts, simply enroll in that plan and our team will take care of updating your billing.
