Your story—every twist, ache, and triumph—is sacred.

It’s not just a collection of moments. It’s a window into who you are and how God is at work in your life. But too often, we try to forget our past, bury the pain, or focus on stories of our resilience. We assume healing means “moving on.”

But what if healing begins by going back?

You're invited to join us for the Story Workshop for Racial Trauma & Healing—a 3-day, Virtual experience that invites you to write, share, and explore your story in a space shaped by care, wisdom, and hope.

This Story Workshop is specifically designed for, and led by, Black, Indigenous, Latino/a, and Asian/Pacific Islander people as the global majority of the world’s population. By focusing on the experiences of Black, Indigenous, Latino/a, and Asian/Pacific Islander people, we can create a safer space for you to explore your identity and learn more about your culture and family story.

Over the course of the 3-day virtual workshop experience, you will:

  • Receive live, interactive teaching from Linda Royster, Wendell Moss, and the Allender Center team as they lead you through intensive, life-changing sessions on trauma, story, and healing.

  • Engage in six Story Group sessions—guided, small-groups led by NFTC Certified Facilitators designed to help you uncover more meaning and move toward blessing your story.

  • Be supported by a thoughtfully-paced schedule that includes moments of rest, spiritual practices, and personal reflection.

This isn’t just about healing your past.

It’s about reclaiming your voice, renewing your hope, and deepening your connection to your community and culture. It’s about honoring the resilience and beauty in your story while grieving the harm—personal and collective—that has shaped you.

When we bless our stories, we bless the stories of our people. When we heal, we join in the work of collective healing, becoming a source of hope, dignity, and restoration for others.

Are you ready to take the next step? Register for an upcoming Story Workshop for Racial Trauma & Healing and begin the sacred work of engaging your story with intention, courage, and care.
